Zijin Cao International Peace School is a non-profit public educationschool jointly established by the Institute of National Heritage & International Peace and the Memorial Hall of the Nanjing Massacre Victims by Japanese Invaders. The School is dedicated to promoting international understanding of the history of the Nanjing Massacre and the "comfort women" system, with the aim of remembering history and cherishing peace. Since its first session on June 5, 2017, the school has integrated academic instruction with experiential learningthrough expert lectures, on-site testimonies by survivors, and dialogues with museum directors. These activities enable international students to gain a deeper understanding and engage in critical reflection on the history of the Nanjing Massacre.

The primary participants of Zijin Cao International Peace School are international students, with a smaller number of domestic middle school students planning to study overseas. The training duration is tailored to the needs of each cohort. Key activities include specialized history experts delivering English lectures to impart knowledge about the Nanjing Massacre, field visits to the Memorial Hall of the Nanjing Massacre Victims and the Nanjing Museum of the Site of Liji Lane Sex Slaves Station, explorations of the original sites of the former safety zones, face-to-face discussions with survivors, and hands-on crafting of Zijin Cao bookmarks symbolizing "peace." Upon completion of the program, the Memorial Hall of the Nanjing Massacre Victims by Japanese Invaders presents participants with certificates of completion.
