Docent Reservation

 (1) Free docent guide

Every day we provide two rounds of free docent guides with one in the morning and the other in the afternoon for the "Exhibition of Nanjing Massacre"

Morning round: 9:30 A. M.

Afternoon round: 2:30 P. M.

Two rounds every day for the "Three Victories" Exhibition

Morning round: 10:30 A. M.

Afternoon round: 3:30 P. M.

(2) Charged docent guide

80 yuan/ round(every round includes docent illustrations of the "Exhibition of Nanjing Massacre", the "Three Victories" Exhibition and the outdoor scenes in the Memorial Hall. )

Charged docent guide needs reservation made at least 1 day, at most 7 days prior to the visting day.

Transportations

 (1) Public Transportation

Metro:  Take Metro Lin2 to Yun Jin Lu Station (云锦路站) , then exit from Gate 1. When encountering with national holidays or other crowded situation, use Gate 3 as exit, then turn to Gate 1 to enter the Memorial Hall.

Bus: 22 routes including: Bus No.7, No. 37, No. 61, No. 63, No. 9, No. 19, No. 8241, No. 48, No. 39, No. 57, No. 204, No. 161, No. 166, No. 96, No. 113, No. 552, No. 23, No. 109, No. D12, No. D4, No. D7, etc..


(2)Driving 

Route 1: 

Drive along Shui Xi Men Street, then turn right at the cross of Shui Xi Men Street and Jiang Dong Zhong Lu, forward 200m, turn right to the underground parking lot of the "Three Victories" exhibition hall. 

Route 2:

Drive along Han Zhong Men Street, then turn left at the cross of Han Zhong Men Street and Jiang Cha Lu, forward 300m, turn right to the underground parking lot of the "Three Victories" exhibition hall. 

Route 3: 

Drive from north to south along Jiang Dong Bei Lu, then turn around at the cross of Jiang Dong Bei Lu and Shui Xi Men Street, forward 200m, turn right to the underground parking lot of the "Three Victories" exhibition hall. 

Route 4: 

Drive from south to north along Jiang Dong Zhong Lu, then  forward 200m when seeing the green light signal at the cross of Jiang Dong Bei Lu and Shui Xi Men Street, turn right to the underground parking lot of the "Three Victories" exhibition hall. 

 

Family Service

We provide

(1) Free baby carriage and wheelchairs to rent
You can find them at the Service Counter at both entrances to the Exhibition Hall of Nanjing Massacre and to the Exhibition Hall of "Three Victories"

To rent the facilities you need to provide: 500 yuan as guarantee deposit and identification documents, such as ID card or driving licences. Phone numbers are requested for the convenience of contact.

Please return your rented facilities to the Service Counter before 17:00 on that day. 

(2) Luggage storage

Large pieces of luggage (trolley luggage) must be deposited, and small pieces of luggage (backpack and bags) can be brought into the exhibition hall.
Storage fee: 3 yuan per piece of luggage.
Please take back your deposited luggage at the Luggage Storage before 17:00 on that day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Assistance for Visitors

When encountering with any emergency or asking for assistance, you can call for help from our volunteers or find our staffs from the information counter at the entrance of the hall.

When you lose anything:

Inform our staff of your  loss and resgister with information of your lost belongings at the information counter, we will contact you immediately upon receiveing any clue that could retrive the lost item(s). 

When you need medical aid:

If you are injured or indisposed, we provide basic medical aids at our information counter. When professional medical treatment is urgently needed, please contact our staff nearby to escort you to the nearest hospital.

Regulations

Ⅰ. The opening time starts from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., each week from Tuesday to Sunday. The entrance shall be closed at 4:30 p.m. The museum closes on Monday (except for national holidays).


Ⅱ. Visitors shall remain quiet and solemn. It is required to cherish historical artifacts and shall not defile or damage equipment and facilitates related to the National Memorial Ceremony. Dress modestly and appropriately. Do not wear clothes or icons inconsistent with the atmosphere of the museum. Obey the guidance of the staff. Do not disturb public order.

Ⅲ. In order to maintain the solemnity and cleanliness of the museum, unauthorized sales of products, soliciting, entertaining performing, begging and other behaviors that may cause damage to the museum are strictly prohibited.

Ⅳ. It is prohibited to bring in museum with inflammable, explosive, toxic, radioactive, corrosive or other dangerous items that may endanger the safety of other visitors and property of the museum.

Ⅴ. It is required to obtain prior consent of the museum to conduct activities such as exhibitions, performances, filming TV series or videos, live broadcast or interviews in the museum

Ⅵ. No group or individual is allowed to distort or deny the historical facts of the Nanjing Massacre. Insulting or defaming the victims and survivors of the Nanjing Massacre are strictly banned. It is also prohibited to make up or disseminate statements and information containing the above-described behaviors , which are detrimental to the dignity of the state and  nation and offend the feelings of Chinese people . Infringements are not tolerated upon the legitimate rights and interests of the victims and survivors of the Nanjing Massacre, including their names, portraits and reputations.

Ⅶ. It is prohibited to take photographs or record videos with uniforms, flags, icons or other props that carry the symbol of Japanese militarism in the museum and to publicize them on internet.
Ⅷ. The museum has the right to dissuade and stop any violation against the above regulations. Any serious offender will be submitted to the public security organ for treatment in accordance with the law.
