30 trainees from Taiwan visited the Memorial Museum to participate in the  Taiwanese elite Nanjing history and culture training session. The trainees  include middle school students and white-haired elders. Most of them came to  Nanjing for the first time to gain a deeper understanding of this part of the  history.


Zhang Jianjun, curator of the Memorial Museum, said: "This part of the  history is the common memory of the people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.  We must remember history and cherish peace."
