On December 20, 2023, more than 30 international students from Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology visited the Memorial Hall to participate in “a Lesson on Peace” tutorial activity. They came from 10 countries including Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Zambia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and South Africa.

Ali, a student from Pakistan, remarked, “I felt very heavy-hearted during my visit. Looking at those texts and photographs, several times, I couldn’t help but shed tears. I cannot imagine how horrific the scenes were at that time. Each photo here is a silent accusation.”

After the visit, students used brushes to write Chinese characters such as “Tell Stories about China Well” and “Peace” in small-seal script at the Youth Activity Center in the Memorial Hall, experiencing the true essence of peace.
