"Feeling the Pain of This Dark History Deeply"
On the afternoon of October 14, organized by the Nanjing Overseas Friendship Association, the 2025 China-U.S. Cultural Exchange Delegation, participating in the "Discover Jiangsu and Zhejiang·Experience China" program, visited the memorial hall. The history of the Nanjing Massacre deeply moved the young American dancers.

American youth dancer Charlie Fields said, "Before coming to the memorial hall, I didn’t know much about the history of the Nanjing Massacre. The images and texts I saw in the hall today left me deeply shocked."
After the visit, Charlie specially purchased a Zijin Cao-themed cultural and creative product, planning to bring it back to the United States as a gift for friends. He hopes that through this small souvenir, more people will learn about this history that should never be forgotten.
Like China, Myanmar also suffered greatly during the war of aggression launched by Japanese militarism, with the brutal conflict bringing profound disaster to the local population. Inside the exhibition hall, Myanmar journalists, holding recording devices, captured historical materials and artifacts that carry the truth of this history.

Kyaw Ze Yar Myint, news editor of The New Light of Myanmar, said after the visit, "Entering the memorial hall and learning about the atrocities committed by the Japanese army against the Chinese people, my heart remains deeply unsettled. After returning to Myanmar, I will publish a detailed report on my experiences and reflections from this visit, so that more people in Myanmar can learn about this history."
