On the eve of the International Day of Peace this year, the Memorial Hall received a letter from Carly Brady, great-granddaughter of Richard Brady, who stayed in Nanjing to help save the refugees during the Nanjing Massacre. In her letter, Carly shared the story behind her family’s connection to Nanjing, and how that has inspired her to work for peace. In the end, she expressed her hope for a peaceful world.
