The 77th anniversary of the Victory for the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was celebrated on September 3rd . In the morning, the Memorial Hall held an educational activity at the Victory Square. At 9.30 a.m., the ceremony of laying flower baskets to the martyrs was held in front of the wall of martyrs' name list. The ceremonial staff laid a basket of flowers to the martyrs and national heroes who sacrificed their lives for the victory of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and all the staff laid flowers in turn.

After the wreath-laying ceremony, all the participants went to the giant "Wall of Victory". Gao Fei, Principal of the Jiangsu Symphony Orchestra and a national-level actor with his trumpet repertoire blew the " Trumpet of Victory ". Famous artists from the Jiangsu Recitation Association recited the war poem "Trumpet Blowers"(《吹号者》). The children's choir of the Memorial Hall's Zijin Grass Art Troupe sang the songs "No Fear, Only Resistance"(《只怕不抵抗》) and "Grow Up"(《生长吧》), expressing the determination of teenagers to be self-reliant and to serve their country.
