On the morning of June 11, the Memorial Hall held a calligraphy salon "Fragrance of Calligraphy for Spreading Culture". Nearly 20 representatives of foreign students studying in China, who were from the United States, South Korea, Thailand, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Yemen, Ecuador, Liberia, Bangladesh, Serbia, Syria and Malaysia, and more than 10 Chinese teenagers, instructed by Yang Tianci, a member of Chinese Calligraphers’ Association, experienced the cultural charm of Chinese calligraphy, writing down their beautiful wished for the future.

Olano Teah Bloh, a Liberian student whose Chinese name was Xiao Guang, said, "Peace is that we are all together. It's the foundation of a good life. I am very happy to participate in this event and look forward to learning more in China and sharing the beauty here with my peers when I return to my country. We will build a peaceful future together."

At the end of the activity, Chinese and foreign youth representatives donated calligraphy works to the Memorial Hall.
