Recently, prospective international students from the Affiliated High School of Nanjing Normal University, Jinling High School, Nanjing No. 1 High School, the Affiliated High School of Nanjing University, and Jiangning Branch School of the Affiliated High School of Nanjing Normal University came to the Memorial Hall successively to start the "one lesson before going abroad" learning trip of Zijin Grass International Peace School.

They rang the Bellof Peace, visited the Exhibition of Historical Facts on the Nanjing Massacre, talked with descendants of survivors of the Nanjing Massacre, listened to experts' lectures, and planted Sindberg’s Yellow Roses. This was a special history lesson in their lives.

In the Peace Square, Nanjing Massacre survivors Ge Daorong, Ai Yiying, Ma Tingbao, Cen Honggui, and Nanjing Massacre survivor Li Gaoshan's son Li Zhenming, survivor Pu Yiliang's son Pu Chuanjin told the students their family stories. Li Gaoshan and Pu Yeliang had passed away, passing on the baton of telling the history of the Nanjing Massacre to their successors.
