Grandma Chenzhou (pseudonym), a survivor of Japan's "comfort women" system, died on January 30 at the age of 101. Born in 1922, Grandma Chenzhou left her hometown in 1938 after being brutally sex-abused by Japanese soldiers and settled down in Chenzhou, Hunan Province in her later years. She wrote, “Don t forget the pain of the past”.
