"Remembering and Self-empowerment Are the Best Ways to Speak for Them."
On January 13 and 14, nearly 120 students from Nanjing Foreign Language School who were going to study abroad came to the Memorial Hall to participate in the 65th and 66th "A Lesson before Going Abroad" exchange activity of the Zijin Grass International Peace School.
They visited the Exhibition of Historical Facts on the Nanjing Massacre and listened to lectures by experts. They also visited branch of the Memorial Hall—Nanjing Museum of the Site of Lijixiang Comfort Station, and the Former Residence of John Magee and the Monument to the Compatriots Killed in the Nanjing Zhongshan Pier, to remember the victims and express gratitude to international friends.
At the end of the activity, director Zhou Feng presented certificates of "Messenger of Peace" to all students, hoping that after they went overseas, the "seeds" of Nanjing people cherishing peace would be sown around the world.
