Stamp International Design Contest of "Nanjing · City of Peace"
About
Peace, the eternal topic of mankind, stamps, the design between the square inch. When the two meet, the peace stamp becomes a materialized image, Along with the epistle this social behavior, they brings a personal reading experience and communication effect for peace, and rapidly spread into a worldwide collective creation. From Picasso's peace pigeon stamps in the 1940s to the commemorative stamps of world peace day in the 1980s, they have become classic legends in the history of design.
In 2017, Nanjing formally passed the application and became the 169th international peaceful city, and also the first city in China to join the organization. In order to spread the concept of peace, gather the strength of international peace, and shoulder the responsibility of international peace city, The Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, China Post Nanjing Company and Nanjing University of the Arts jointly held the Stamp International Design Contest of "Nanjing · City of Peace"

Designers, teachers and students of professional schools, professional institutions and art lovers all around the world,Can register for the competition in the name of team or individual.
Theme
(1) Design theme
Focusing on the theme of peace, a series of philatelic products are designed by combining relevant history, characters, events, cities, buildings, and symbols.
(2) Category
A. Postage, Philatelic Supplies
Select or use the theme materials, and complete the series design of the postage, postcard or postmark, and carry out the independent derivative design on this basis (For details, see the Category Description and template).
B. Personalized Stamps
The personalized stamp set needs to use a fixed main ticket pattern for the design of the vice tickets and Edge pattern(For details, see the Category Description and template).
Note: Participants can choose their own group or participate in two groups at the same time, the number of works is not limited.
Award
(1) Postage, Philatelic Supplies
First prize (one from all), Prize: RMB 10,000, award certificate
Second prize (three from all), Prize: RMB 5,000, award certificate
Third prize (five from all), Prize: RMB 2,000, award certificate
Excellence Award (ten from all), Prize: RMB 1,000, award certificate
(2) Personalized Stamps
Excellence Award (five from all), Prize: RMB 3,000, award certificate.
Note: All bonuses are pre-tax amounts. In principle, after the winner provides personal income tax invoices, the organizer will issue bonuses.

Competition Process
(1) Application Form
Participants need to log in to the official website of the competition(http://www.19371213.com.cn)Download and complete the application form. Please use electronic signature (seal) for the signature (seal) part of the application form
(2)Submission Format
The entries should be submitted in PPT or PDF format, including original design drawings, postal product conversion effect drawings, derivative effect drawings (optional) and design instructions (within 200 words). The layout should be set by yourself, and the file size should not exceed 10m. The winning entries must be submitted in the form of source files for the second time for exhibition release and later use. Please keep them properly.
(3) Please send the application form and works in the form of attachment to before the deadline (August 30, 2020) mail@peace-stamp.com. The subject of the email is "stamp competition + competition group + name of individual or group + title of works". The organizing committee will reply the confirmation email.
Attention
(1) All entries must be original works, and no plagiarism or intellectual property disputes are allowed.
(2) All entries must be designed around the theme. The works have not been published in other competitions or public occasions, and have not entered into commercial channels in any form.
(3) If the entries violate the above regulations, the organizer has the right to unilaterally cancel the entry and award-winning qualification at any stage. The legal liability caused by plagiarism and infringement shall be borne by the participants.
(4) All cultural relics, signs and elements of the memorial hall shall be owned by the memorial hall. Participants are only used for the design submission of this competition, and can not be used in other ways without authorization and permission.
(5) Once submitted, the organizer has the right to use the works for publicity, exhibition and other public welfare purposes. The intellectual property rights of all winning works belong to the memorial hall, and the designer enjoys the right of signature.
(6) The organizer has the right of commercial use for the development, production and sale of all award-winning works, and the designer shall not transfer or transfer the right to engage in relevant commercial activities with a third party.
(7) The interpretation right of this competition belongs to the memorial hall. In case of any change, the information released by the organizer shall prevail.
