Launching Ceremony

At 9:00 am, the launching ceremony of the "2017 Spring Festival Condolence Activity for the Survivors of Nanjing Massacre", hosted by the Memorial Hall and organized by the Nanjing Aid Society of Victims by Japanese Invaders and the Nanjing Publishing Studio, was held at the Memorial Hall.

Since December 28, 2016, the event began to recruit volunteers from all walks of life, calling charitable and caring hospitals, enterprises, groups, and individuals from the whole society to participate in donations.
  
Hundreds of volunteers and caring people from all walks of life gathered at the Memorial Hall this morning to make us feel warm in the cold winter morning.

2017 Spring Festival Condolence Activity for the Survivors of Nanjing Massacre
Life should be long

These elderly people are also witnesses of that tragedy
And the victims in our country
On January 21, 2017, we hope to gather all of our kindness

The youngest one is only 17 years old
And the eldest is 53 years old

Visiting and condolences


  
After the launching ceremony, the staff of the Memorial Hall and the volunteers recruited were divided into 62 groups, with1-3 people in each group, and they visited the Nanjing Massacre survivors.

  Chen Junfeng, deputy curator of the Memorial Hall, He Shiming, head of Nanjing No. 12 Middle School, and other volunteers went to console the elderly Xia Shuqin, a survivor of Nanjing Massacre.

  Zhang Miao from Nanjing Political and Legal System and Xia Geng, a volunteer from Nanjing No. 29 High School, went to condole with Wang Xiuying, a survivor of Nanjing Massacre.

  Volunteers from Nanjing No. 12 Middle School paid a visit to the elderly Yang Cuiying, survivor of the Nanjing Massacre.

Through this activity, many volunteers who sent warmth said they would often come to console the elderly and serve the elderly, trying their best to care the old people.
At the same time, we also hope that people from all walks of life will care for the survivors of the Nanjing Massacre and let the old people enjoy their old age.
