Nanjing Museum of the Site of Liji Lane Sex Slaves Station is composed of eight historical buildings from the Republic of China era, collectively known as "Puqing New Village."

At the end of 1937, after the Japanese invaders occupied Nanjing, they converted No. 2 Liji Lane into the "Shinonome Comfort Station" and No. 18 into the "Kokyoro Comfort Station". Room 19 on the upper floor of No. 2 Liji Lane served as the residence for Park Young-sim, a surviving victim of the "comfort women" system from the Republic of Korea, who endured three years as a sex slave for the Japanese military. In November 2003, she visited the site to provide identification, making Site of Liji Lane Sex Slaves Station one of the few former comfort stations confirmed by surviving victims of the "comfort women" system.

In November 2014, the Nanjing Municipal People's Government initiated the restoration, protection, and exhibition work of the Site of Liji Lane Sex Slaves Station, which was officially opened to the public in December 2015. In October 2019, the site was designated as part of "the Eighth Batch of Major Historical and Cultural Sites Protected at the National Level" by the State Council, and in September 2020, it was listed among the "Third Batch of National-Level Memorial Facilities and Sites for the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression."
